Description: Nationally-renowned author, award-winning speaker and garden designer, Kerry Ann Mendez will speak on the topic of "The Right-Size Flower Garden: Exceptional Plants and Design Solutions for Time-Pressed and Maturing Gardeners" on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Change happens. Job demands, kids, hectic schedules, aging bodies, and changing interests have led to gardens that are not in balance with out lifestyle. Time for some "editing". This inspiring lecture provides easy-to-follow right-sizing strategies, recommended no-fuss plant material, and design tips for stunning year-round gardens that will be as close to "autopilot" as you can get...

This event is sponsored by Sutton Garden Club, Grafton Garden Club, and Blackstone Valley Garden Club. Light refreshments will be served. Club members from all three clubs are welcome to attend at no charge. Doors will open at 6:15pm to provider attendees the chance to view and purchase copies of Kerry Ann's books. Kerry Ann will have all three of her books for sale at the event and plans to be available to autograph them. Parking is available on both sides of the American Legion Post. Carpooling is suggested.

Tickets for the event are available to the public on a limited basis, for $10. To buy tickets in advance of the meeting, send a check payable to the Sutton Garden Club to Joanne Geneva, 89 Eight Lots Road, Sutton, MA 01590 and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope by September 1, 2017. For checks received after this, tickets will be held at the door and any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
